Committee Opinions

Two lavatories are included in the wet vent system, do both of them need to be physically vented?

When two lavatories are included in the wet vent system, do both of them need to be physically vented?

If a potable water system is large enough or if the system is used often enough, would an expansion device be required, even though the plans or a letter from the architect state that it is not required?

Is an expansion tank, the only device that can be used for thermal expansion, or can youuse a ball cock that has a thermal expansion relief valve?

Can an emergency roof drain discharge directly under the roofline, onto the exterior building wall, or does the discharge piping have to come down the wall to a safe level?

Opinion we have a laundry tub in the basement which needs to be pumped into the sanitary. I have plumbers that want to use this style of pump. Provided the piping is tied in correctly to the sanitary drain line, does this meet Ohio Plumbing Code without a trap and without a vent?

In drawing we have a sealed sump crock with fixtures dumping into it. Do to the difficulty of getting a vent above the flood rim of the highest fixture upstairs, is it legal to tie the vent back into a stack as shown?
